DONNA

Owner & Master Stylist

Donna Hill is St. Joseph Michigan’s master stylist extraordinaire, and a go-to expert on hair care, color techniques and a wide range of product lines.

As the owner of Attitudes Salon, she has spent more than 40 years helping thousands of busy men and women level up their confidence and finally love what they see in the mirror by crafting the best look to bring out the best in them! She cares about her guests AND their hair, which is why she guides clients to the best outcome for hair type, skin tone and face shape in a way that won’t damage their hair in the long run. 

A certified Redken Master Specialist, Donna enjoys staying at the top of her game on the latest trends, techniques and products. She also holds certifications in Pureology, Surface Awaken and Surface Curls, and her passion for education is reflected in her salon’s culture, where continual learning is a must. She keeps herself and her team ahead of the curve with continual education opportunities every year, and runs an internal associates program for the stylists who work in her salon. Thanks to her desire to “grow people for a living” her education first approach ensures that her team is always trained and ready to meet the hair goals of every person who sits in their chair.

  • Outside the salon, Donna leads an active and adventurous life. She’s a Jeep enthusiast who loves off-roading with her local jeep club, and a classic rock aficionado who never misses a chance to see her favorite bands live. Her love for her community is as vibrant as her passion for creating the perfect hairstyle, and she gives back by volunteering as an ambassador of the Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber of Commerce, and as a member of the Berrien County Youth Fair Equine Committee.

    She and her husband have now celebrated over 40 years of marriage, and have 2 grown children. Donna recently hung up her shoes from competitive long distance running, but stays active by jogging with her dog Toby, playing with the grandkids, and working in her flower garden.

Hi there, my name is Katie Cooper, and I have been a stylist at Attitudes salon for nearly a decade now.

I have worked my way up to a level 4 stylist with my experience and skill set. When a salon guest asks me what my favorite service to perform my answer is always any kind of color or pedicures but honestly I love everything about my career! Being able to help guide someone in looking and feeling their best is pretty amazing, and staying up to date on all the latest color and haircut techniques is something I strive for with every guest that sits in my chair! I am certified in Surface Awaken which is a line that promotes hair growth, surface curls and curly haircuts.  

I’m currently taking new guests and would love to see you in my chair soon!

  • When I’m not foiling hair or polishing toes, you can usually find me curled up with a good book, watching a movie, out in the garden, hanging with my husband or out shopping with the girlfriends for the day! I’m a coffee enthusiast, so catch me at Dunkin every morning. I absolutely love roaming our property with our two German Sheperds Knox and Jax, and enjoying those unbeatable Michigan sunsets.

Stylist, Lashes & Brows, Manicures & Pedicures

I’m Shelby Hammermeister and I would love to be your new stylist! I have been licensed for 8 years, and love what I do. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a cosmetologist, just ask my Barbies, they always had the newest and most innovative haircuts!

I love doing highlights, and helping my guests achieve natural and low maintenance color. Not only do I specialize in hair artistry, I am also gifted when it comes to brows and lashes. If you are looking for longer lashes, and brows arched to perfection, I’m your girl. I have continued my education and have gotten certified in Surface Curls product and curly hair cuts, Surface Awaken products. I am a certified lash and brow tech including extension, lifts, tints, and lamination. I pride myself on making my chair an inclusive and inviting safe space for all!

  • Outside of the salon I am the mom to two gorgeous dogs, Izzy and Bowie; photos can be obtained upon request. In my spare time I love to read, so please come to your appointment with book recommendations! I also love to go to concerts and hit the gym to keep me sane.

KENZIE

Hello there! My name is Kenzie Warren, and I'm a young stylist from a small town in Berrien County. With over a year of experience as a licensed cosmetologist, I stay up to date on the latest trends through ongoing education such as the Redken Gloss Boss (Color) and Redken Acidic Bonding Curls classes. I’ve also completed the Associates Program, which is a master’s level program that provides a hands-on experience in areas such as technical skills, guest handling, and business building.

I specialize cuts, colors, blondes, and fantasy colors but for me It’s not just about the hair. It’s about creativity, connections, and self-expression. I take huge pride in understanding my guest’s unique visions and style and bringing it to life with precision and care.

  • My favorite thing to do outside of the salon is spending time with nature. I love all things fishing and going up north to visit the various places our big mitten has to offer! But don’t be fooled! I’m very much a homebody! I love playing my favorite game, The Sims 4 and watching the entire Twilight series in one sitting!
